What Is A Tick Chart

TickerChart is one of the programs that provide instant stock quotes, offering several subscription tiers. It is a proven system that has grown through continuous development, strong price feeds, and a range of online trading services across the web, tablets, and mobile phones. Because of this, many people ask whether the program is free or subscription-based. It helps to understand Hollow Candles.

The program contains many menus, tools, and indicators that help traders review and research listed companies, whether they are short-term speculators or long-term investors. In this article we walk through the menus, features, and drawbacks the program offers.

TickerChart is owned by UniTicker, which developed it in 2005. It provides a range of tools to help technical and fundamental analysts carry out their trading, analysis, and investing tasks. Since its launch it has been updated and developed until it reached its current advanced features, with equations, qualifications, and reports prepared to evaluate its functions periodically. Its products include:

  • TickerChart Live
  • TickerChart Net Plus
  • TickerChart Trend
  • TickerChart Quant
  • TickerChart for smart devices, such as TickerChart Android.

In the lines below we explain the registration process and menu settings in this program, and cover the main features and drawbacks of each product listed above.

TickerChart Net (free) and how to get it

Here we explain how to register for free and open the charts on TickerChart Net so you can use the charting features the program provides. Note that all the data on the Net program is delayed by fifteen minutes from live market time; its purpose is to practise technical analysis and develop your trading skills.

When you want to register officially and trade in real market time, you get two free days by going to the page set aside for that.

After registering and logging into the program interface, the following page appears on the program’s website:

At the top of the chart you find two options: Week and All Data. The Week box provides the time frames you want to trade on, from one minute or five minutes up to four hours, daily, weekly, or larger for investors.

Worth noting here: larger time frames are technically more accurate for analysis or learning.

In the All Data box you can see data and information about the company whose shares you want to buy, sell, or trade, from its founding until the present, or market data at a specific time, and other data available on assets, shares, and companies.

Next to the data you find a small button marked with an indicator badge. This option shows all the technical tools and indicators available in the program that you may want to add to your chart according to your own strategy.

Beside the indicators button you find another button marked with the letter A, available if you want to add various moving averages, as shown below:

You are then shown options to add the lot or trade size in your trades, as shown below:

You then find the controls for the chart type and how it appears, such as the candles you need, whether hollow candles, Japanese candles, or a plain line chart, as shown below:

You are also shown buttons marked with a camera that save the chart as an image, and next to them the settings button, which lets you set everything you want to appear on your chart, as shown below:

After explaining the top section of the chart, its components and features, we move to the right of the chart where the drawing tools appear. There are many of them, with features and tools that help you in trading,

such as the trend line, horizontal and vertical lines, Fibonacci levels, marking harmonic patterns, adding text, and much more, as shown below:

With this we have covered the main features and tools of the TickerChart Net platform that you can use in technical analysis as a tool that provides basic information on your chart, or what is known as the program’s recommendations.
