How to Use the Daily Pivot Point Indicator
The Daily Pivot Point Indicator uses a mathematical formula to derive potential reversal levels; these levels are indications, not predictions, and price may ignore them. The Daily Pivot Point Indicator is easy to use and trade, and it uses the daily D1 timeframe for its calculation. You may also want to read about Daily Support and Resistance Indicator.
The indicator always displays the main pivot point (the yellow line), and it also shows 3 key resistance levels (the red lines) and 3 key support levels (the blue lines). It doesn’t matter which timeframe you choose – the indicator is always calculated based on the daily timeframe.

The Daily Pivot Point Indicator always provides the most accurate price levels, and you can trade with it like any other Pivot Point indicator: if the market is near the resistance levels, the red lines (R1, R2, R3), a downward move on the other side is usually expected; if the market is approaching the support levels, the blue lines (S1, S2, S3), an upward reversal is usually expected.

It’s also possible to use the indicator very effectively alongside other Forex indicators or a trading system, and setting stop-loss or take-profit levels based on the pivot point indicator is usually a very good idea, because price reverses from the support levels (S1, S2, and S3)and resistance levels (R1, R2, and R3) often and frequently with accuracy.
The middle pivot point level can be used to determine direction (the yellow line): price above the middle pivot point means the bullish outlook is stronger, while price below the middle pivot point means the bearish outlook is stronger. Price also tends to reach the middle pivot point with a 70% probability during the trading day.
The Daily Pivot Point Indicator consists of technical analysis calculations used to determine the overall market direction across different timeframes, and it’s used to find the pivot point, which is simply the average of the highest and lowest price during the day and the closing price from the previous trading day.
On the following day, trading above the pivot point is believed to signal a continuation of the bullish trend, while trading below the pivot point signals bearish tendencies.
The pivot point is the basis of the Daily Pivot Point Indicator, but it also includes other support and resistance levels projected from the pivot point calculation, where all these levels help traders know where price could meet support or resistance; similarly, if price moves through these levels, it lets the trader know that price is trading in that direction.
The Daily Pivot Point Indicator is a technical indicator used mainly to determine trends and reversals in the stock, commodity, and foreign exchange markets. Pivot points are calculated to identify levels where market sentiment could shift from bullish to bearish and vice versa, and day traders also calculate pivot points to determine entry, stop, and take-profit levels – the Daily Pivot Point Indicator does this automatically.
